I was known as the colleague who cultivated calm.
Here’s how it started.
My yoga journey began 15 years ago while teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Asia.
But when the pressures of culture shock and a stressful 60 hour work week filled with dozens of students took its toll, I was struggling to find balance.
A co-worker introduced me to yoga, and I’ve never looked back.
I moved back to the United States, and I returned to the tough legal industry.
Life got crazy.
As I worked on multi-million dollar cases, opened an office and went through a divorce, the yoga practice I discovered in Asia became my rock.
Yoga helped connect me to both physical and mental strength.
I was able to connect with mind, body and soul.
I was able to be present.
Although it is impossible to always feel calm, yoga and meditation are essential components of my self-care toolkit.
The better I connect with myself, the better I connect with others.
Which leads me to why this site exists, my friend.
My life’s mission is to hold space for others to become more present, connect with self and to cultivate calm.
